Trans Canada Trail will have an exhibitor’s booth at the Federation of Canadian Municipalities’ (FCM) Annual Conference this week at the Scotiabank Convention Centre in Niagara Falls.
From May 29-31, please drop by booth # 122 where TCT representatives will be on hand to talk about the benefits of the TCT and our organization’s bold goal to fully connect the Trail by 2017, Canada’s 150th birthday.
Almost 2,000 municipal leaders from across Canada will be attending this conference to discuss national challenges facing Canada’s hometowns, including infrastructure, adequate housing, and rail safety.
FCM speakers include, Hon. Lisa Raitt, Minister of Transport, Hon. Ed Fast, Minister of International Trade, Hon. Thomas Mulcair, Leader of the NDP and the Official Opposition, Justin Trudeau, Leader of the Liberal Party of Canada, and Elizabeth May, Leader of the Green Party of Canada.
TCT is looking forward to meeting with Canadian municipal leaders and discussing what the Trail means to their communities and all Canadians.
